Submitters were asked to create a list of anywhere between 5 to 10 albums. For each album that appeared in a submission's list, it was given one vote. The ranking order of the album list does not matter, except for the first. The number one album in a submission's list would count for double votes.

The final top 50 albums are simply sorted by most votes to least, or which albums appeared in the most lists across every submission. Each award is individually voted irrespective of list placement.

The average album list length across 237 total submissions was ~9 albums. (8.59 raw)

Berry, how do we know you aren't lying? since i've been getting allegations of rigging the votes, i've attached a complete copy of the raw vote data, straight from the Google form, in a .json file below. you are more than welcome to count them all by hand, or write up a script that processes everyone's submissions automatically, if you feel so inclined. best of luck to you in these endeavors.
